Listening & Speaking

The National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF)-SE 2023 emphasise the cultivation of effective communication skills as a fundamental aspect of language learning to prepare students for the demands of the 21st century.

Let’s Listen and Speak is a series designed to enhance the essential skills of listening and speaking for classes 1 to 8, empowering them to succeed academically and socially. It involves a holistic approach, starting with attentive listening and culminating in confident articulation. Whether it's honing skills, practising clear pronunciation, or engaging in meaningful conversations, the series addresses varied facets of the listening and speaking journey thoughtfully, providing students with a balanced and enriching learning experience.

The series includes carefully crafted exercises that challenge, motivate, and inspire self-learning and collaboration as well as mirror real-life situations, enabling students to connect language learning with practical application. The activities span the spectrum from casual conversations to formal presentations and include participating in interactive dialogues and engaging in group discussions, amongst others.
